Simply put, I relate to the world and other people through food. My
philosophy is this: whether you’re a die-hard foodie or a person who
could care less what you put in your stomach, everyone has at least one
dish that gets them excited. Get that same person hungry, and even the
least food interested individual will wax poetic about the food their
mother cooked them growing up or their secret love of Stouffer’s
macaroni and cheese.
While food blogs are a dime a dozen these days, I figured it was
finally time to toss my hat into the ring. Ultimately, I hope to create a
forum that allows me to connect with other people who believe that food
is a reflection of values and that eating is a social experience. This
blog showcases what I cook and eat on a weekly basis. From authentic
ethnic recipes to my mother’s family favorites, I hope this food
inspires you to cook for yourself and set out to create some of your own
favorite dishes at home.
